Kennel cough, also known as canine infectious respiratory disease, formerly canine infectious tracheobronchitis, is an upper respiratory infection affecting dogs.

There are multiple causative agents, the most common being the bacterium Bordetella bronchiseptica, followed by canine parainfluenza virus, and to a lesser extent canine coronavirus.

It is highly contagious

Infectious canine hepatitis (ICH) is an acute liver infection in dogs caused by Canine mastadenovirus A, formerly called Canine adenovirus 1 (CAV-1).

The virus is spread in the feces, urine, blood, saliva, and nasal discharge of infected dogs. 

It is contracted through the mouth or nose, where it replicates in the tonsils. 

The virus then infects the liver and kidneys. 

The incubation period is 4 to 7 days.

Common Symptoms are -
Fever
Depression

Coughing
Tender abdomen
Corneal edema 

Signs of liver disease, such as jaundice, vomiting, and hepatic encephalopathy, may also occur. Severe cases will develop bleeding disorders, which can cause hematomas to form in the mouth.

Canine influenza (dog flu) is influenza occurring in canine animals. Canine influenza is caused by varieties of influenzavirus A.

Dog flu is airborne. 

Respiratory secretions escape into the environment in the form of coughing, barking, and sneezing, where they are then inhaled by a new canine host.

The dog flu also spreads through contaminated objects and environments, like water bowls, collars, and kennel surfaces, or through contact with people who have had direct contact with an infected dog.

Hip dysplasia is a deformity of the hip that occurs during growth.

The hip joint is a ball and socket joint. During growth, both the ball (the head of the femur, or thighbone) and the socket in the pelvis (acetabulum) must grow at equal rates.

In hip dysplasia, this uniform growth during puppyhood does not occur.

The result is laxity (looseness) of the joint, followed by degenerative joint disease (DJD) or osteoarthritis (OA), which is the body's attempt to stabilize the loose hip joint.

Luxation of the patellar is a condition where the kneecap moves out of its correct position, causing the animal a great deal of pain. 

Dogs can often kick the patella back into place but, if not corrected, the condition can lead to lameness.

The dog may become weaker in his movement. The dog gets up more slowly or will flop down to rest.

Abnormal movement - When luxation occurs the dog will try to kick the patella back into place. Often this will correct the luxation for a period.

Unusual gait - You’ll notice your dog is walking strangely in the case of patellar luxation. If the dog’s gate is unbalanced, patellar luxation could be the cause.

Loss of enthusiasm - If your dog usually jumps about but has stopped, this could be a sign of patellar luxation. They will usually develop an intolerance for exercise and appear lethargic.

In severe cases lameness can occur. 

Sometimes lameness can come on quite suddenly and the symptom is unmistakable.

Intervertebral disk (IVD) disease in the dog is a common clinical disorder manifested by pain, a partial loss of limb function, paralysis, and sometimes a loss of feeling in the hind limbs.

IVD disease can occur in the neck (cervical) area, the middle of the back (thoraco–lumbar region) or in the lower (lumbosacral) region of the back.

Degeneration of the IVD occurs when the center (nucleus pulposus) begins to dehydrate or lose water.

Progressive retinal atrophy (PRA), is a group of degenerative diseases that affect photoreceptor cells. With this disease, the cells deteriorate over time, eventually leading to blindness in the affected dog.

The breeds commonly affected include Bedlington Terriers, Cavalier King Charles Spaniels, Labrador and Golden Retrievers, Rottweilers, American Cocker Spaniels, and English Springer Spaniels. 

The first sign is night blindness. 
Affected dogs may be reluctant to go into dark rooms, or may bump into things when the light is dim. 
The eyes become very reflective when light shines on them.
The pupils are more dilated than normal. Both eyes are affected. 
The dog becomes clumsier when in unfamiliar surroundings.
